PINPOINT - Group Workshop

-

This evenings session was put into place as an opportunity to catch up on the more important aspects to our, hypothetical business. Amongst the whole idea and concept for our potential product, a magazine offering the audience a chance to view British design. Including a number of key elements such as; Illustration, Photography, Graphic Design and Typography. This focus would effectively allow us to ensure the readers are reaching the most recent and up to date pieces of design work, that has solely been driven and created within the United Kingdom . By doing this, we effectively have a collation and collection of UK designers that could be viewed across a wide audience.

There would be an easy sense of style in relation to the approach British designers take. By doing this people could easily determine what exactly is happening within the United Kingdom so far. Ultimately a progressive magazine that is forever staying modern.

Our actual session revolved around the most important aspects we had to deal with. The business plan & the finance. Once we had understood this, broke it down and calculated the overall effects, we would be able to collate the information and use it across our presentation. Michael Mooney, Alex Slippens and myself drew our ideas, and potential plan across a number of worksheets, allowing us to break down and understand what we were doing and were going to do.

WORKSHEETS -

For everyone that contributed to this session, I have taken photographs of today and placed them in a PDF document for my group contributors.

The cover and layout were designed by myself as I feel the most comfortable using design when I am in a group.
